Shannon Anderson is a freelance editor, with an expertise in contemporary art publications. She has experience in a range of editorial responsibilities, from structural and substantive editing to standard copy editing and proofreading. Based in Oakville, Ontario, Shannon received her BA in Art and Art History from the University of Toronto and her MA in Art History from Concordia University. Among her recent institutional clients are the Aga Khan Museum, the Agnes Etherington Art Centre, the Art Canada Institute, the Koffler Gallery, the Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival, the Scotiabank Photography Award, and the Ryerson Image Centre. Her past editing experience includes the position of Associate Editor for Azure and Designlines magazines in Toronto. She is also a contemporary art curator and writer, and has developed exhibitions for galleries across Canada and written for numerous art publications.
